Have a project you think we might be great for? We would love to hear about it! And if it is not for us, we are happy to try to point you in the right direction.
There are a few things we need to know to be able to give you an estimate.
Please review our list below to help you prepare for your submission.
Though not every category might apply to your project at this stage, or ever, the more of the information you are able to send, the better!
We need something to look at to understand what you need us to do! It doesn't need to be professionally rendered; a quick pic of a maquette, drawings, images, even a napkin sketch helps.
Send us sizes, real or imagined! Height, Width, Depth (HxWxD).
What do you imagine this made out of? Let us know, or if you are unsure, just tell us, we will have suggestions.
If you are working towards a set deadline we need to know from the time you send in your quote request. We book up very far in advance, so we do not want to get your hopes up by quoting a project we do not have time to do.
Is this an interior or exterior sculpture? Let us know a bit about where it is going and what else is there so we can anticipate any environmental factors.
Are there any imposed project specification we should know about? We need to know if your commissioner, engineer, or other involved party has specified anything regarding the fabrication of your work.
Do you have an idea and you want to know if it is possible? Are you at the preliminary stages of a RFP? Have you been pre-selected for a competition? Have you already been awarded a contract or commission?
Not everyone likes to share their budget for some reason, but it is VERY helpful to give us an idea of what you are working with. From there we can determine if the project is feasible for the cost allowance, and if not give you advice on modifications that might help you fit your design into your budget. Providing a budget saves everybody a lot of precious time.....
Might seem like a no brainer, but you would be surprised! Include your email address and most importantly, a phone number we can reach you at if.
Sorry!
We are not going to cast functional objects:
belt buckles, hardware, hood ornaments, some random part, etc.
We don't make large production runs, trophies or awards.
Our interest is in handmade, one of a kind, or extremely limited fine sculpture and public art.
We are very specific about the products and alloys we use to ensure we meet our high quality standards.
Plus, we don't want to be poisoned.
We are not going to take your old, probably leaded, bronze, scrap metal, or copper wires and melt them down to cast with.
We don't know what's in it and it is not worth the risk finding out.
Sorry, not Sorry!
We are never ever going to make a replica of another Artist's work without their express permission.
Nope, not if we change it a bit.
Nope, not even if they are dead.
Nope, not when you are super sure they won't mind.
If you like an Artist's work buy it from them!
Don't wait until the last minute to contact us!
We are usually booked up at least one year in advance.
Please do inquire to find out for sure.
Just don't be heartbroken if we can't fit in your request.
We happy to provide free estimates or ballpark cost ranges.
At our discretion, there may be a fee for in-depth, complex or time consuming quotations.
If a quotation fee is needed it is refunded if the project goes ahead with us.
